బలగం చిత్రం - a well made movie

Slice of Life  సినిమా అంటే - 

నిజ జీవితంలో ఒక ప్రదేశంలో స్వల్ప వ్యవధి లో జరిగిన సంఘటనలను సహజంగా తెరకెక్కించడం.

'The slice-of-life movies are essentially a depiction of the mundane. They will typically focus on character and relationships over things like genre elements, special effects, or the overall aesthetic. In short, they can be thought of as substance over style.'

వేణు సహాయ పాత్రలు, హాస్య పాత్రలలో అప్పుడప్పుడు కనిపిస్తూ ఉంటాడు. పెద్దగా ప్రభావం చూపినట్లు అనిపించలేదు. అతను బలగం అనే సహజమయిన, అర్థవంతమైన మంచి చిత్రం తో దర్శకుడు గా రచయిత గా మారాడు అంటే ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగింది. 

ఈ చిత్రం చూసిన తరువాత ఇతను ఎంత ప్రతిభావంతుడు అన్న విషయం తెలిసింది. Only a person with immense talent and passion can make such movie.

చిత్రంలో కథ, దర్శకత్వం, నటీ నటులు, లొకేషన్, సంగీతం, ఛాయాగ్రహణం , అన్నీ చక్కగా కుదిరాయి.

తెలంగాణా లోని ఒక గ్రామం లో ఉండి కళ్లముందు జరిగిన జీవితాన్ని చూస్తున్న భావన కలిగింది.

Customs and traditions may be region specific but human relations are universal.

వేణు కథను నడిపించిన విధానం బాగుంది. 

Though a serious subject, really liked his sense of humour throughout the movie. 

ఆగుతావా.. రెండు నిముషాలు అని ఒక నటుడు

అది పద్ధతేనాయే.. అని ఒకరు 

అంటుంటే మనకు పరిచయం ఉన్న వాళ్ళు మాట్లాడినట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది.

ఈ చిత్రంలో నటీ నటుల పేర్లు తెలియవు. అందరూ అత్యంత సహజంగా కనిపించారు. 

మద్యం, మాంసం అనేవి గ్రామీణ జీవితం ఆచార వ్యవహారాల్లో అతి సహజ అంతర్భాగం అన్న విషయం ఈ  చిత్రంలో కనిపిస్తుంది.

ఇంటి పెద్ద మరణం నుంచి పదకొండు రోజులలో కుటుంబ సభ్యుల మధ్య ఇగోలు,పంతాలు, మాట పట్టింపులు, నమ్మకాలు, స్వార్థం, వారిలో చివరికి కలిగిన పరివర్తన ..

director succeeds in making the viewers travel through the happenings. 

Even though the subject is not elaborate, the way director tells the story leaves an impact on viewers.

తెలంగాణా జానపద కళారూపాలు ఒగ్గు కథ ను ఉపయోగించిన తీరు బాగుంది. ముఖ్యంగా గా క్లైమాక్స్ లో కళాకారులు గీతం ద్వారా కుటుంబ సభ్యులను పేరు పేరునా వెళ్లిపోయిన పెద్దాయనకు ఉన్న వెలితిని తీర్చేలా పాడడం మనసును కదిలిస్తుంది.

తిథి అన్న కన్నడ చిత్రం ఇదే తరహా సబ్జెక్టు మీద తీశారు అని తెలుస్తుంది.

ఛాయా గ్రహణం బాగుంది. ముఖ్యంగా సంగీతం, పాటలు, సాహిత్యం బాగా కుదిరాయి. 

In my opinion this movie deserves awards in best movie, best direction, music and lyrics categories at National level.

Balagam is one of the rare meaningful movies in Telugu.

Producer Dil Raju deserves appreciation for backing the director and his vision.

వేణు భవిష్యత్తులో మంచి చిత్రాలు తీయగలడు అనిపిస్తుంది.
