నీలతామర, మీస మాధవన్, డైమండ్ నెక్లెస్ ఇత్యాది చిత్రాలలో విద్యాసాగర్ సూపర్ హిట్స్ ఇచ్చాడు.
మళయాళ చిత్రాల పేర్లు కొన్ని tongue twisters లాగా ఉంటాయి.

ఇటీవల Solamante Theneechakal అనే చిత్రం కోసం LJ - VS కలిసి పనిచేశారు.
vidya sagar is a unique composer. He has composed some great melodies in Malayalam and Tamil movies. He is rated highly but rather under utilised.
It can be said that he is one if the finest intellectual classy music directors.
తనకు కేరళ లో అధిక సంఖ్యలో అభిమానులు ఉన్నారు.
కొన్నేళ్లుగా విద్యాసాగర్ చిత్రాల సంఖ్య తగ్గింది. నదిలో కొత్త నీరు పారడం సహజం.
This is sort of comeback movie for both lal Jose and Vidya.
ఈ కొత్త చిత్రం లో పాటలు ఎలా ఉన్నాయో విందాము.
1) విరల్ తొడట్టే - విద్యా సాగర్ సంగీతం ముప్పై ఏళ్లుగా evolve అవుతూ రావడం గమనించాను. finesse, subtlety, smoothening పెరుగుతూ వచ్చింది. Now he has reached the next level of composing which very few other composers have achieved. His music feels like an abstract painting now. This song corroborates it.
Instant coffee రుచి కొన్ని పాటలకు ఉంటుంది. ఈ చిత్రం లో పాటలు filter coffee లాగా అనిపిస్తాయి.
పాడుకొనే కంటే వినడానికి బాగుంటాయి ఈ తరహా పాటలు.
ఏదో లోకం లోకి ప్రయాణం చేసినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది పాట వింటుంటే .గాయకుడు నకుల్ అభయంకర్ బాగా పాడాడు.

2) ఆనందమో - another beautiful soft melody.
ఈ పాటలు pastels లేత రంగులతో గీసిన చిత్రాలు. Orchestrization లో ఒక sublime touch కనిపిస్తుంది.
3) పంజారక్కో - a song composed in retro style of 50-60s. Uses instruments like clarinet, Spanish Guitar etc. జాణవులే ( ఆదిత్య 369 ), నా సిరిచా దీబావళి (నాయకన్) పాటల కోవలో సాగుతుంది. అయితే విద్యాసాగర్ మార్కు సంగతులు పాటలో వినవచ్చు.
He is still capable of creating good music if elements conspire and inspire him.
